Hillary Clinton served as First Lady, senator for New York and Secretary of State, and in 2016 became the first woman nominated for president by a major American party. She began her career as a lawyer working on children's rights.

Facts
- At Yale she worked at the child study centre and wrote an early article on children's legal rights that is still cited.
- As a schoolgirl she wrote to NASA asking how to become an astronaut and was told they did not accept women.
- She was one of only 27 women in a Yale Law School class of about 235.
